The Arbor Company has developed meaningful and strategic alliances with health care partners across the continuum of care. In Georgia, for example, we are in partnership with The Center for Health in Aging at Emory University. As part of this partnership, our Georgia communities receive advanced physician-led education for our staff as well as geriatrician oversight for our residents. Emory University is a national leader in geriatric medicine. Our Greenville, South Carolina community has a formal affiliation with the Greenville Hospital System, the region's leading medical system. Arbor Terrace of Asheville partners with the North Carolina Assisted Living Federation and is a location where Western North Carolina Executive Directors received on-site training.
In each state and in each community we develop key relationships with clinical partners who help address resident needs. We look for clinical partners who share our commitment to quality care and with whom we can develop progressive clinical programs across several communities. These partnerships - in rehab, home health, hospice, pharmacy and geriatric psychiatry - help us meet the needs of our frailer residents and provide us a significant marketing advantage. Key partners currently include: Kroger Senior Pharmacy, Heritage Rehabilitation and Innovative Senior Care Rehabilitation.
In 2008, the Arbor Company overall average satisfaction score was 3.42 out of 4.0.
