Meet one of our newest residents! Joan Goldwasser recently placed a deposit on an apartment at The Arbor at Delray, and we can’t explain how lucky we are for her to join us when the community opens later this year.

Not long ago, Joan brought us a handwritten note praising the staff and her experience when considering The Arbor at Delray. We thought we should share this heartwarming message with you.

Feels like Home

There are many factors to ponder when considering which senior living community may be the right fit for you. Sometimes it’s not something you write on a list, but rather a feeling when you enter the building. Joan said it best when she wrote, “I found my new home! I happened upon this gem that will surely enhance my lifetime opportunities. First, I was greeted with a warm welcome, creativity, positivity, and possibilities from a staff that’s down-to-earth, affable. And displays genuine caring for one another. Their unique connection is authentic and permeates the casual and well-appointed surroundings - that feel like home!”

Pet friendly

Transitioning to a senior living community shouldn’t mean giving up your four-legged friend. The Arbor at Delray is a pet-friendly space and we welcome your furry companion so you both can feel right at home. Joan shared Gabi Joy’s approval, “They even welcomed my two-and-a-half pound sidekick, Gabi Joy. I am sure you will see her romping in the adjacent, new dog park when you stroll through these tranquil grounds through Morikami. She will offer lots of licks!”

Activities & Amenities

The Arbor at Delray is a modern take on senior living and understands seniors are staying active more than ever. In addition to modern living and updated decor, The Arbor at Delray offers amenities like complimentary transportation and a lively activities calendar to keep the young at heart busy. Joan shared her excitement, “Complimentary transportation will provide fun activities (even at night) and rides for medical appointments.”

Considering a Move to Senior Living?

Joan concluded with this advice for other residents looking for a senior living community to call home. “Best wishes in making this chapter a meaningful, safe, and loving gift you’re giving to yourself and family. The future is in our hands. Let’s make it a fulfilling one and all that it can be.”
