    Arbor Company Memory Care
    Life at Arbor Terrace

My grandfather has recently joined the community at Arbor Terrace after spending several years with my Mother and I. The staff at Arbor Terrace San Jose has been very kind and informative about the entire process. They treat you like a family member and make sure your family member is well taken care of. They truly understand the difficulty of the transition for everyone and make it as easy as possible. We spent much time looking for a "right place" for Grandpa, who did so much for multiple generations of family, and we couldn't think of a better community for him. The security is top notch and adaptive to current technologies. (They use a mobile app to keep families informed of activities, really cool.) The staff is professional yet warm. It doesn't feel like a facility, it feels comfortable. I am always happy to come visit and see Grandpa thriving. He is engaged, safe and happy. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

    - Mark M.

“Is there a more difficult decision for anyone to have to make than the one of where to move your parent when they need a care facility? I think not. For my brother and me it was very emotional and scary to take our Mom out of her home of almost 60 years. The obvious things you look for of course are quality of care, safety, and meeting medical needs. The other more subtle things that mattered to us were a beautiful, clean, no smell home that all family and guests would be comfortable visiting and want to stay to be with her. Arbor Terrace has exceeded every hope and requirement that we had. The staff is so caring and loving that it feels like we are all friends, even extended family with the same goal of making our Mom happy and comfortable. I feel very lucky to have found this beautiful facility with this caring staff to make this time in our Moms journey better than we had dared hope for.”

    - Laurie R.

“A year ago, my husband became someone we didn’t recognize. Dementia made its presence known and fear, confusion and hopelessness became part of our families’ life. Arbor Terrace staff reached out to us with open arms, loving support and much-needed information. Now my husband is surrounded by people he knows and trusts, lives in a safe environment and understands the reality of dementia. We are so grateful for your loving support.”

    - Karen

"My mom has been a resident at Arbor Terrace San Jose for only a month and we can already see the positive impact! She’s happy, calm and tells us how much she loves it everyday. The staff is amazing and it’s clear to see that they truly care about the residents!! Mom has a private room and bath and was able to take her bedroom furniture with her, which made it easier for her to acclimate!! We’re very pleased with our choice and highly recommend this wonderful community!!"

"My only regret is not having discovered it sooner"

“I cannot overstate how grateful I am to have found Arbor Terrace San Jose and for the care and caring they give my Mom everyday. They went above and beyond to ensure her transition there went smoothly and have been attentive to her needs everyday. Every detail from the architecture to the food preparation has been purposefully designed to best meet the challenges that dementia entails. But most of all, it is the people that make the difference. Patience, compassion and concern for my Mom's wellbeing is displayed everyday from the front desk and office and administrative staff to the nurses and caregivers and kitchen staff. In particular, Silver Rehab is a truly unique asset and I have been amazed at the strides they have made with my Mom thanks to their special skills, endless patience and cutting-edge technology. In short, Arbor Terrace San Jose looks like a home and feels like a family. My only regret is not having discovered it sooner.”
