The summer heat was on at The Arbor at BridgeMill! Our 3rd Annual Summer Games brought together residents and team members for an unforgettable day of friendly competition, laughter, and pure joy. This beloved annual tradition perfectly captures The Arbor Way—celebrating our amazing residents while creating deep connections through shared experiences.
"Welcome to one of my favorite events of the year," shared Brooke Freeman, Engagement Director at The Arbor at BridgeMill, as she kicked off this year's festivities. And it's easy to see why this event holds such a special place in everyone's hearts. From the moment the games began, the energy was infectious. Residents cheered each other on, team members joined in the fun, and everyone embraced the spirit of friendly competition that makes our community so special.
This year's lineup featured an exciting variety of events that had something for everyone: axe throwing (safely supervised, of course!), Nerf gun shooting competitions, putting challenges that brought out everyone's inner golfer, dance-offs that showcased some serious moves, and the crowd favorite—the watermelon eating contest. Each event was designed not just for competition, but to bring people together. We watched as residents discovered new talents, team members cheered from the sidelines, and everyone celebrated each other's achievements—big and small.
While medals were certainly awarded, the true victory was in the connections made and the joy shared. The Summer Game's embody everything we love about our BridgeMill community—the laughter, the teamwork, and the celebration of our residents' amazing spirits.
