Out of more than 325 nominations from senior living providers across the state, Gwene was selected for this prestigious award, which recognizes her unwavering commitment to compassionate, person-centered care. Her nomination reflected not only her incredible work ethic but also her deep humility, patience, and the warmth she brings to everyone around her.
Gwene has been part of the Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill family since 2017, and in those years she has become a beacon of consistency, kindness, and quiet leadership. Whether mentoring new teammates, supporting residents through transitions, or stepping in to help on any shift or neighborhood, Gwen shows up with her whole heart.
One family recently shared how deeply she impacted them during an especially emotional time. As a resident was nearing the end of life, Gwene stayed close by the resident’s only daughter—who later told our Resident Care Director that she wouldn't have made it through without Gwene’s support.
It’s stories like these that remind us of the heart behind senior living. Gwen doesn’t just perform tasks—she provides peace, comfort, and care that touches lives in profound ways. And she does it all with humility and grace.
