Executive Director

Shevon, a highly experienced and compassionate patient care provider, has dedicated herself to serving the senior community since 2010. She embodies a deep love and unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of residents and their families. Through her creativity, passion, and extensive background, Shevon enriches the lives of all those residing at The Solana East Cobb.

Mary Bennett

Director of Sales

Mary joins the team at Solana with experience in social work and counseling. She has worked the past four years in Senior living marketing and sales. She is excited to help seniors and families find that next new home. Mary and her husband Liam have lived in East Cobb for 13 years with their two high school aged daughters.

Sheila O'Connell

Resident Care Director

Sheila is a board-certified nurse in Gerontology and educated in assessing and meeting the needs of older adults. Sheila has experience in women’s surgical nursing and also as a diabetes educator. Prior to becoming a nurse, she was employed as a Flight Attendant for 16 years. Sheila enjoys caring for our residents and collaborating with their families.

Memory Care Director

Malerie's impressive career in the senior industry commenced immediately after her graduation from high school, where she started as a nurse's aid. Over the course of 23 years, she has acquired a wealth of expertise working in various settings including nursing homes, behavioral units, and memory care communities. Her unrelenting dedication to being a voice for the voiceless sets her apart in her field. Malerie's deep-seated passion for aiding others and her profound interest in the histories and life stories of residents make her an invaluable asset to her role.

Shalan Mosby

Shalan Mosby

Engagement Director

Shalan is from Atlanta, Georgia. Shalan has been working with seniors for five years. She loves hearing their stories and building a strong relationship with them. Shalan uses her creativity and experience to form meaningful programs.

Lillian Wint-1

Lillian Wint

Dining Director

Liliana is a certified CDM and CFPP with more than 30 years of hospitality and culinary experience. She received her Certification in Dietary Management, Therapeutic, and Modified Diets from Kent Campus Community College. She later attended Miami Lindsey Hopkins Culinary Arts & Food Safety and received a certificate in Culinary and Food Safety.

With a background in music therapy, Megan brings her passion to create enriching, fun activities to share with our residents and families!

With more than 30 years’ experience working in senior living communities, Lennie works to assure our residents and their families feel safe and at home.

Racuel James

Racuel James

Business Office Director

Serving seniors has been Racuel’s lifelong passion, stemming from her volunteer work as a candy striper in long-term care facilities during her formative years. She has acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in Long-Term Care Administration and a Master of Science degree in Gerontology from the esteemed University of Alabama. Racuel firmly stands by the well-known proverb, "Always put your best foot forward". Outside of her duties at the community, she is a dedicated mother to two teenage children.
