Everyone's Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, and our residents didn’t hesitate to join in on the festivities! Donning their finest green attire, they began with a traditional Irish meal of potato leek soup, corned beef and cabbage, and roasted potatoes.
As they ate, residents were entertained by a strolling piper playing the national bagpipe of Ireland. After a delicious dessert of Irish coffee cake, residents and staff posed for pictures in front of our Ireland castle backdrop.
It was a great way to celebrate the holiday and both residents and staff alike enjoyed the sounds and tastes of Ireland. We were still talking about the event days later!
