A new option for senior living in Sandy Springs is taking shape. Arbor Terrace Sandy Springs is projected to open in mid-2027 on Peachtree Dunwoody Road, just north of Abernathy Road. The community will offer assisted living and memory care in one of metro Atlanta's most established neighborhoods.
The location puts residents close to the shopping, dining, healthcare, and cultural destinations of Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and the Perimeter area. It also keeps adult children nearby, which matters when families want to stop by after work rather than plan a trip.
An on-site information center is set to open in summer 2026, giving future residents and their families a first look at the plans, floor plans, and pricing before the doors open.
Arbor Terrace Sandy Springs will include two levels of care under one roof:
Assisted living: 70 apartments for seniors who want their independence with the right amount of daily support
Memory care: 30 specialized apartments for seniors living with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia
Each apartment is being designed to feel like a real place to live — warm, secure, and connected to everything happening in the community. Residents who need more support over time can transition without leaving the building they know.
The community will feature chef-prepared dining, including specialized dining through Arbor's exclusive Dining with Dignity® program. Residents will also have access to:
A wellness and fitness center with programs for all ability levels
Gathering spaces designed for conversation and connection
Social and cultural programming built around resident interests
Concierge service, housekeeping, and personal laundry
Scheduled transportation for appointments and outings
The Arbor Company has spent more than 35 years operating senior living communities, with headquarters right here in Atlanta. Arbor Terrace Sandy Springs will be the company's tenth community in the metro area, joining The Solana East Cobb, The Arbor at BridgeMill, and Arbor Terrace Crabapple.
