He may be 95, but Lee Planakis is not too old for new ideas. A resident of Arbor Terrace Johns Creek, Planakis is the proud holder of a patent, granted in 2018 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, for a “non-planar table tennis paddle.” He designed the modified version of the conventional paddle and hopes it will be adopted for the next Olympics.
