Relationships Matter Here

Relationships are the cornerstone of our senior living community. We emphasize creating meaningful relationships—we call them deep connections—with staff, residents, and family members. As we get to know our residents more thoroughly, we can adapt their programs and assistance to more accurately meet their needs and preferences.

Jeff Altschul

Community Sales Director

Jeff studied journalism while at Columbia College and believes everyone has a very captivating story, which he is able to explore with all potential and current residents and families. Jeff has been with Arbor Terrace since day one of the transition and takes a lot of pride in being a part of the new start for the community. As he lives in the neighborhood, he had the pleasure of watching the development of the community from when the first brick was placed until today. He savors the opportunity to be a part of its evolution and growth. Although he has only worked in long-term care for nine years, working with seniors comes naturally for Jeff, as he has a very warm and affectionate relationship with his grandparents and holds great admiration for them. Jeff is very invested in the surrounding Highland Park community as he has two daughters who attend school at Highland Park High School. He enjoys playing basketball, working in the garden, and spending all his remaining time with family.

She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, and a Certified Dementia Care Manager. Miranda DeJesus headshot

She has nine years combined experience in senior care, home care, assisted living, memory care, and supportive living. Miranda’s greatest joy is talking about her daughter, who is an honorary member of the team as she was born during the same month the community welcomed its first resident.

James headshot

James Camp

Dining Director

James began his culinary career in the fast-food business when he was 16 years old. All he ever wanted to do is cook, and after working for several North Shore-area fast-food chains, he developed a taste for finer foods. He moved to Atlanta to work for his cousin, a certified Executive Chef opening his own restaurant. Over the next six years, he worked at some of Georgia's hottest restaurants. He moved back to North Shore in 1989 and served as Executive Chef at Bertucci’s in Highwood for seven years. He also enjoyed his work as Corporate Chef for Cucina Roma, for which he opened five restaurants with Italian concepts. Most recently, he has taken on dining from a new perspective as Dining Director at Arbor Terrace Highland Park. He is proud to say he has been serving the community since July 2020 and loves to dazzle the residents with his years of experience and passion for food and customer service.
