Two residents of Arbor Terrace Naperville celebrated milestone birthdays during the month of November: Evelyn Korvada turned 95 and Jean Schaefer had her 90th birthday.
Evelyn is proud of her Polish ancestry and loves Kolacky Bakery, socializing and family parties. You’ll often find her toasting to special occasions. Her favorite things include shopping for blouses at Kohl’s (especially when she can find a great deal), exercising and getting her hair and nails done.
Jean and Don were married for 68 years, and they had two sons. For many years, Jean and Don had a standing Wednesday date to play golf with friends. She worked as a switchboard instructor for 11 years at Northwestern Bell, and her hobbies include seeing Broadway plays at the local theater in Davenport.
Jean, who says she’s addicted to Pirate’s Booty Popcorn, says she’s had a full life and was lucky to have shared her life with a wonderful man.
