The Arbor Company has served seniors for more than three decades. Our years of experience have taught us that people matter more than anything else. And in senior living, it’s people who make a difference every day. We hire bright, thoughtful, compassionate people who want to join us in our mission to revolutionize senior care.
Tina Ginsburg, Engagement Coordinator for Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel, has worked at the community since its opening in April. Tina has helped us nurture the positive, engaged culture that our residents love, and we’re honored to have her as part of our Arbor family.
Spotlight on Tina Ginsburg
Hailing from Ashland, Virginia, Tina got her start in senior living the same way many people do: by caring for a loved one. Her grandfather had dementia, and her experiences caring for him helped her understand the many challenges seniors face as they age.
Tina now harnesses the wisdom she gained from her grandfather to guide activities at Evergreen. She plans a wide range of options for residents, working to keep them happy and active no matter where they are on their dementia journey. Tina relishes the deep connections she nurtures with residents, and is especially grateful for the chance to help new residents feel comfortable in the community.
She loves watching residents sing, dance, and enjoy life in a nurturing community. The experience has taught her how precious life is, and inspired her to find joy in unexpected places. Her advice? “Keep singing and enjoy life.”
Arbor: Where People Matter Most
Quality senior living offers a lot: delicious gourmet food, beautiful eating and meeting spaces, lovely rooms, well-manicured gardens, and endless activities. Ultimately, however, senior living is about living a better life. And that requires putting people first. At Arbor, we know that choosing the right people to serve our senior residents is the first step toward helping our residents craft the retirements they deserve. We never lose sight of the importance of people to our mission—both the people we hire, and the people who choose to spend their retirement with us.
That’s why we treat everyone with respect and dignity. We know that every person who walks through our doors is a unique individual with their own preferences, needs, and plans for retirement. We work with you to ensure we can meet your needs even as they evolve. We offer a robust range of activities and special events, community outings, support groups, and more.
We’d love to welcome you to one of our community events, so you can see exactly what makes Arbor so special. Give us a call to learn more!
