The Grand Opening celebration of Arbor Terrace Shrewsbury was a night full of fun, games, friends, and good times. With more than 150 people in attendance, the energy was palpable, and we couldn’t think of a better way to reintroduce our community. Outside of the amazing community support, Arbor Company leaders Judd, Alyssa, Angel, and Sandy attended the celebration as well.
Guests got to witness the hard work started in 2017, when we began all our renovations. Included in the updated design is a beautiful new entryway with a marble front desk. There is also a double-sided fireplace in the main living room, where residents can gather for a drink or snack in the bistro, or kick back and watch TV.
We added a gorgeous solarium with floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as a new TV lounge that extends to the outdoor courtyard for memory care residents. A new gym and personal fitness room with the latest equipment were updated so our residents can stay in top shape. When it’s time to relax, the cozy library with computers is a perfect retreat for residents. All areas are tastefully and elegantly decorated with beach-themed accents so residents get the full ocean experience.
Our talented culinary staff prepared a delicious spread including fresh seafood, cheesesteaks, boardwalk fries, and even pasta action stations where folks could create their own Italian masterpieces. No meal is complete without dessert, so partygoers had options of Jersey Shore-style desserts such as boardwalk ice cream and funnel cakes.Attendees got to try their hand at roulette and blackjack—and no matter the deal, everyone was a winner. Throughout the night, guests were serenaded by live music from the likes of Frank Sinatra.
