Visit the State Botanical Garden of Georgia

The State Botanical Garden of Georgia boasts sprawling natural beauty all year long. But this stunning collection of living art is more than just a work of beauty. It’s an ongoing horticultural project, with experts from around the world coming to Georgia to learn about native species, preserve endangered plants, and understand the botany of some of the world’s most delicate species. When you visit, learn more about the plant life that surrounds you in these unique gardens.

  • The Alice H. Richards Children’s Garden introduces children to native species in Georgia, conservation, and the importance of plants in human life. Check out story time and other ongoing events.
  • The Flower Garden is a must-visit for lovers of blooms of all sizes and shapes. Featuring a colorful annual garden as well as voluminous perennials, this is the best place in Georgia to see daffodils in spring.
