Join us for this special episode of The Golden Gang Podcast, a podcast that dives deep into the stories of those who live and work within our beautiful community. You never know who just might inspire you to step outside of your comfort zone and take a bold new adventure.

This week, you’ll meet Rose, one of our beloved residents who rides life like a rollercoaster, hands up, wind in her hair, and not a single thought of slowing down even after living almost an entire century. Our host Alaina James, Community Sales Director at  The Arbor at BridgeMill asks Rose about her fun-filled background. You can’t help but chuckle learning how she received her nickname “fritzy,” how she is always smiling, and how she was quite the athlete growing up, becoming the captain of the ping-pong, softball, bowling, badminton, and volleyball teams in high school.

From becoming a recognized baseball star in a woman’s league and meeting her future husband (who was quite a fan!), to winning a roller derby event under the pseudonym “Jackie Marvin” and becoming life-long best friends with a woman who went on to work at NASA, Rose’s story is full of heart, hope, and an extra dose of joy - because that’s just how life should be!

Listen to the full episode to learn more about Rose’s motto of how courage isn’t the absence of fear, it’s about living fully despite it, and stay tuned for more exciting stories shared by the people who make this community a truly welcoming place for all walks of life to call home.
