At The Arbor at BridgeMill, we're always looking for better ways to care for the residents and families we serve. This summer, we're adding a meaningful new level of support.
On Wednesday, July 15, we're launching our Bridges program, created for individuals in the early stages of dementia or cognitive change. It gives families a supportive option that sits between assisted living and the more intensive support of memory care.
A New Option Between Assisted Living and Memory Care
Many families reach a point where a loved one is doing well but needs a little more structure than assisted living typically provides. Full memory care may not feel like the right fit yet.
That in-between stage is exactly what Bridges was created to address. It meets residents where they are and gives them the right support at the right time.
What the Bridges Program Offers
Bridges is not traditional memory care. It's a strengths-based program focused on maintaining abilities, building confidence, and keeping residents engaged in a vibrant, social daily life.
Residents in our Bridges program can expect:
- A daily rhythm of cognitive engagement, creativity, and learning.
- More structured programming in smaller groups that supports thinking and connection.
- Friendships with peers experiencing similar cognitive changes.
- Chef-prepared, brain-healthy dining that's as social as it is nourishing.
- Specially trained team members who balance encouragement with respect for independence.
Who Bridges Is For
Bridges is designed for individuals experiencing early cognitive decline who are still largely independent but benefit from added support. It may be the right fit if your loved one might say, "I'm doing well, but I know I need a little support."
If a loved one needs more consistent, hands-on help throughout the day, memory care is likely a better match. Not sure which is right? Our team will partner with you to understand your loved one's strengths, needs, and goals.
Why Bridges Is Our Highest Level of Assisted Living Care
Because Bridges brings together more specialized training, smaller groups, and individualized attention, it's the most comprehensive level of support we offer.
That depth is where the value lies: more team members, more training, and a daily experience built around each resident. The team at The Arbor at BridgeMill is always glad to talk through current pricing so it fits your family's situation.
Be Among the First to See It
We're booking tours and welcoming questions now, ahead of our Wednesday, July 15 launch. A visit is the best way to see how the day is structured and to picture what life could look like for your loved one.
Acting during early cognitive decline is one of the most caring steps a family can take, and we're here to help you take it.
