Members of the Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners Sugarloaf team brought a special delivery of cheer recently to Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill’s assisted living community. The realtors made and collected 300 handwritten greeting cards to be passed out and shared with residents. The card distribution was part of RED Day, Keller Williams’ annual day of service, when the company’s teams worldwide shut their agency doors to serve others.

“Everyone enjoyed getting a note of encouragement and support,” said Lauren Breitfelder of Hamilton Mill’s Engagement team.”Cards with supportive messages inside mean the world to our residents, especially now when they can’t have visitors due to the virus. The cards definitely brought smiles to everyone who received one. I know that this program positively impacted our community!”

Many people in the KW community came together to sign the cards. Some cards included original artwork and heartfelt messages from team members’ kids, who wrote uplifting sayings like “Stay happy and safe!” and “We are thinking about you!” to residents, along with Scriptures and words of encouragement.

Continuing the KW legacy to “Give where we live,” the card delivery to Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill was one of several projects involving teams of agents, vendors and community partners across the Atlanta area. Family members and friends also pitched in for the project.

“Each year on the second Thursday of May, we celebrate RED Day as part of our legacy worth leaving,” according to Keller Williams’ website. “Making a difference in the lives of others and bettering the communities that we serve lies at the heart of the Keller Williams culture.”
