Independent Living
When we began looking at independent living locations to be our new home, several friends recommended Arbor Terrace. We hadn’t been there more than half an hour when my wife and I looked at each other and said, “This is it.” We have lived at Arbor Terrace for four months now and firmly believe we made the right decision. We love living here.
My wife and I moved to Arbor Terrace independent living a year ago. We have been extremely happy here. The staff is caring and everyone goes the extra mile to be of service. Sadia and the dining room staff do a great job, and the meals prepared by the chefs led by Kelvin are creative and delicious. The maintenance staff also operates in an efficient and professional manner.
We moved my mother and father into Arbor Terrace 2 months ago. They are both 86 and it was a struggle for them to understand why they couldn’t stay at their house. After a few weeks, they have settled in and are enjoying the lifestyle. They are participating in activities, making new friends, and enjoying the beauty parlor and physical therapy on site. They have found a new home.
Assisted Living
We considered a dozen different assisted living facilities for my father. Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill was at the top of our list based on their facilities, staff, programming, services, location, and the care that they expressed during our interview process. He is quickly engaging with other members and activities, he likes the food, and staff members have been wonderful and very responsive.
My mom needed to move here in 2024 and the staff in the Evergreen wing have just been exceptional. They’re very caring and make sure to attend to the residents’ needs… What helped us feel secure in choosing this location is we can visit at literally any time. If we wanted to show up at 3 a.m. we could. That shows they’re doing the right thing all the time.
My dear mother-in-law is a resident at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill. I cannot express in words my deep gratitude for the staff. The magnitude of their patience, compassion, and professionalism is the heartbeat of the community. These qualities are reflected in the high standard of care they give and in the increased quality of life I have seen in my mother-in-law.
Bridges
I want to thank Jessica’s team in the Bridges neighborhood and Abby’s team in Evergreen, and Victoria and Florencia from the activities group, for the care mom received this past year. During the last month of mom’s life they provided care, patience, understanding, respect — and even hugs. You all are angels on this earth.
My dad spent one month in respite care in the Bridges program at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill. I was under pressure to find an appropriate place for him after a hospital stay. The community was beautiful, inviting, and clean. The entire staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and respectful. The Resident Care Director was amazing — always cheerful, engaged, and willing to bring resolutions. I would recommend Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill without reservation.
I always get great feedback from my clients that move into Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill; they consistently give excellent care. It’s a great team to work with and I especially appreciate that they have a Bridges neighborhood for residents with dementia who aren’t quite ready for full memory care. The campus is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. This community is a true gem in Dacula.
Memory Care
We were so blessed with the caring Memory Care team at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill and the wonderful way they loved and cared for our mother during her stay. We felt the love and dedication from each of them from the moment we moved her in. Many of their employees have been with them a long time, which speaks volumes about the management and the wonderful team.
We have moved my mother-in-law to so many assisted living homes in the Buford/Dacula area, so I can truly compare. We never settled until we could find the perfect place — and after 9 months, I can confidently say we have found the perfect home for her. In other facilities, workers were just going through the motions. Not the case at Arbor Terrace. Everyone genuinely loves their job and has a passion for the elderly.
Our mother has been in memory care at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill since 2019. Our first impression was that it was beautifully appointed with clean, bright paint — that really makes a difference when you’re in memory care. Mother is receiving the top level of care since she’s 102. Memory care is always decorated for the seasons with love and care.
