Executive Director
Angelia is honored to bring her passion and experience to the team at Arbor Terrace Burnt Hickory. For 30 years, her career has been focused on navigating the many challenges that seniors face. Because she had the privilege of growing up with her grandparents, she's able to truly understand the gift that seniors are, as well as the importance of treating them with dignity, respect, and love.
Community Sales Director
Lisa brings more than 25 years of experience in senior living, with a career that has included roles in activities, sales, and executive leadership. Her greatest passion is helping families navigate the journey of finding the right community for their loved ones—a role she embraces every day as Community Sales Director at Arbor Terrace Burnt Hickory. A lifelong Georgian, Lisa enjoys traveling and attending live music events with her husband. At home, they share their space with three beloved cats.
Resident Care Director
Nursing is an altruistic profession and has been a passion of Twanda's since she was a young girl. Being a nurse grants her the opportunity to advocate for residents and their families in way that promotes and preserves dignity and equality while aging in place. Our residents are top priority for Twanda, and it warms her heart to know that she can make a difference simply by offering a healing hand, a listening ear, and being both empathetic and compassionate during a time of uncertainty.
Memory Care Director
Terrivia joined The Arbor Company in 2007 and has grown her career from skilled med-tech to Resident Care Manager, and now serves as Memory Care Director at Arbor Terrace Burnt Hickory. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections with residents and families, ensuring each person experiences the highest quality of life. Known for her hands-on leadership and creative approach, Terrivia inspires her team to deliver exceptional care every day. As one grateful family shared, “You brought calm and a sweet spirit with you every day, setting an example to the staff that you selected, trained, and expected the best.”
Engagement Director
Taja realized her passion for serving seniors after taking her first public health class in gerontology. It was at that time that she decided to put her passion into finding my dream job in senior living engagement. In her spare time, you will find Taja crafting and spending time with her loving husband and spunky daughter who loves to help "the grandmas and grandpas."
Business Office Director
Amber first began volunteering in activities at a senior living community during college and quickly realized it was a field she wanted to pursue. Helping others has always been a passion of hers and working with seniors has made her experience all the better. Since joining the senior living industry, Amber has gained an abundance of knowledge and insight. The joy she receives in providing assistance to employees, residents and families is unmatched.
Dining Director
Chef Neheila has a decade of experience in the culinary industry to prepare her for her role as Dining Director. She is a leader in her trade and strives to serve as an example with her day-to-day motto, "If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready." Her attention to detail, love of food, and genuine passion for a positive dining experience shines through her work.
Maintenance Director
Kym brings over 15 years of experience in the senior living industry. Before that, he owned and operated a trucking business, transporting individuals, families, and companies nationwide. While he appreciated life on the road, he chose to work closer to home to be present for his son and pursue a more personally rewarding career. Kym is passionate about his work and values the connections he builds with residents and families. He takes pride in contributing to their comfort and happiness. Outside of work, Kym enjoys working on cars, fishing, seafood, and quality time with his family.
Chief Morale Officer
Olive Rose has been a part of senior living since she was 7 weeks old. As a miniature English Bulldog, Olive loves to snuggle up to our residents, show them how she can chase a ball and bring it back, and wiggles her body all over with excitement when she gets to see them. Olive is part of the engagement team, and you will notice her on the weekly calendar every Tuesday afternoon for group and individual pet visits. At night she goes to her home with our executive director, where she plays with her two big sisters.
