What a joyful and meaningful moment it was at The Solana East Cobb as our residents experienced the magic of music through our new SingFit program — a moment so special it was featured on FOX 5 Atlanta!
Our community recently launched SingFit, an engaging music-based program designed to spark memories, lift spirits, and encourage movement through the power of song. During the FOX 5 Atlanta visit, cameras captured our residents singing along to the classic “Sittin’ On the Dock of the Bay,” tapping their feet, shaking rhythm instruments, and smiling ear to ear as familiar lyrics filled the room.
One of the most beautiful parts of the day was watching residents reminisce as the music played. The shared smiles, laughter, and quiet moments of recognition as songs brought them back to special times in their lives. Whether they were humming along, keeping rhythm with shakers, or confidently singing every word, it was clear that the joy ran deep.
Our team is proud to offer SingFit sessions multiple times a day, often starting the morning with music or continuing the fun after meals to keep the energy flowing! These daily moments of music, movement, and memory are quickly becoming a favorite part of life at The Solana.
