The Fourth of July is one of the biggest days of the year for Americans, and the nation’s birthday was also a big one for residents at communities all across The Arbor Company.

Independence Day celebrations at Arbor Terrace Naperville (Naperville, Ill.) offered plenty of fun, senior-friendly, socially distanced ways for residents to mark the country’s 244th birthday.

Staff members started the holiday festivities a day early with a parade of carts decked out in patriotic colors. The Engagement team’s cart honored the community’s veterans, and the Sales team gave out sno-cones from its cart.

On July Fourth, staff crowned three Mr. and Mrs. Arbors, one from each neighborhood in the community, and residents played fun games for the chance to win Arbor Bucks.

On Sunday, residents received red, white and blue Bomb Pop Popsicles and had their photos taken with an Uncle Sam picture frame.
