Our family searched and searched for a place our mother could call "home," a community where she receives the dementia care she needs from people who know and love her for who she is - Arbor Terrace's Evergreen "neighborhood' is that wonderful place. The leadership team is doing an excellent job training every employee in the GEMS Positive Approach to Care model, the facility is clean, bright, and beautiful, and the partnership with family has been outstanding. (And the food is really good, too!) This approach to caring for elderly people experiencing dementia is based on healthy relationships and guarding the individual's dignity, and it's not the "norm" in the elder care. It is simply outstanding.

Love Arbor Terrace! My Mom has thrived at Arbor Terrace. She came there in a wheelchair and now we have to remind her to use her walker! The staff is kind and responsive to Mom’s needs and our requests. From helping us with long term care insurance forms to daily activities, they couldn’t be better. Mom’s favorite part of Arbor Terrace is all the activities! She always tells me, "They keep us very busy here." Mom often starts the day with chair aerobics, attends a meditation class or informative travel talk, plays games, attends movies, and has even done crafts. I could live there! Couldn’t close without thanking so many individuals who have made Arbor Terrace a wonderful place for my Mom to live and us to visit. Many thanks!!!

My mother has only been here three months so far, but I am super impressed with this place and every person I have observed working here. My momma is in her eighties and in memory care. It is run excellently. They made her feel very welcome and often they try to do things with the residents. They smile a lot and they treat everyone very kindly. I really like this place so much. I am aware that many times across the country places like this often do not get good reports. This is why I am SO SO SO thankful they had a room and momma was able to be accepted in this lovely facility.
