Relationships Matter Here

At Arbor Terrace at Crabapple, relationships are the foundation of our community. We delight in fostering meaningful relationships — we call them deep connections — with residents and family members, and finding ways to create connections between the seniors who live here. As we learn more about our residents, we can provide even better assistance and programs to meet their ever-evolving needs.

Life Is Better Here

For more than three decades, The Arbor Company has been dedicated to providing the lifestyle and amenities that keep seniors feeling their very best.

  • Art and Education Stimulate your mind by learning another language, painting a portrait, or exploring a new craft or skill.
  • Deep Connections Feel connected to a lively community. We ask the right questions and take the time to listen. It’s why residents accomplish amazing things here — things they never thought possible on their own.
  • Health and Wellness Our exercise programs are designed especially for seniors to improve mobility, maintain fitness, and even challenge the brain — all in a fun format.
  • Purposeful Living At Arbor Terrace, residents are meaningfully engaged throughout the day. An important part of that includes opportunities to volunteer and give back to others while remaining actively involved in the community.
  • Recreation and Leisure We go out of our way to fulfill each resident’s wish list. From live music to barbecues to karaoke nights, if you can dream it, chances are that we’ll try it. And we love helping with family get-togethers.
  • Spiritual Journey For many, the health of one’s soul is as meaningful as the health of one’s body. And so we offer ample opportunities for structured religious activities and individual reflection.

She works side by side with our tenured staff in delivering on that promise every day. Sharon and her husband of 29 years have five children and live in East Cobb.

Christine Cavanaugh

As a certified geriatric care manager with 20+ years of senior living experience, Christine’s dedication to ensuring your family’s questions, concerns, and needs are met is rooted in her own family’s experience in the search for quality care for her grandmother. Her family’s top pick was Arbor Terrace at Crabapple for our demonstrated commitment to excellent care. Christine works tirelessly to help find senior care solutions for inquiring families and looks forward to helping yours. Christine and her husband of 20+ years moved from New York to Alpharetta in 1996 and have 2 daughters.

Stephanie Mock

Engagement Director

Joined Arbor Terrace in 2013. "After a decade as an elementary school teacher and then a stay at home mom, I stumbled into a part-time position as an Engagement Assistant. I am so thankful that I decided to ‘get out of the house’ a few days a week! I discovered a new career that I’m intensely passionate about. In 2014, I moved into the role of Engagement Director. Striving each day to make a deep connection with our residents and enrich their lives has energized me in a way I never imagined! Seniors have lead such meaningful, interesting lives. I believe there is so much we can learn from them and so many ways to celebrate their uniqueness. I feel like each of our residents is a member of my family and hardly feel like I’m ‘working’ at all! I’m so glad to be part of the Arbor Team!"

Richard Brodrick

Maintenance Director

Joined The Arbor Company in 2004, Arbor Terrace in 2009 "I joined the Arbor family in 2004 when my family and I moved from California. My wife of 17 years, Anita, and I have three sons; Tim (Tito), who resides here in GA, Omar, in San Francisco & Gilbert, who lives in Maui, HI. I enjoy cooking, playing tennis, and playing with our six dogs. I enjoy my work with Arbor Terrace and especially enjoy going above and beyond to assist our residents and my coworkers."

Stuart Slutzky

Dining Director

Stuart, a New York native and long-time culinarian with experience in fine dining from restaurants, country clubs, bistros, and most recently as a Culinary/Hospitality professor at Kennesaw State University, started his training as a child gleaning inspiration alongside his mother who taught him classic French cooking. Stuart leads his Crabapple team with creativity and enthusiasm. He also loves spending time with his family, enjoys playing/coaching lacrosse, golfing, and keeping fit with Yoga.

Arbor Terrace staff are always approachable and friendly. They always take the time to help out in whatever way they can. Each time I enter the community I am so grateful to have such a caring place for mom to live.

For the past year and a half, I have worked a part time job that has afforded me an education outside of school. My summer job that turned into a permanent job has taught me responsibility, efficiency, organization and most importantly, respect.

Employee

We moved our mother into the Evergreen (memory care) neighborhood at Arbor Terrace from another local community. She is a new person, much happier, and all of our stress levels have dropped dramatically.
