Assisted Living
My mom unexpectedly needed assisted living, and I toured many places. The people who live there welcomed her, and the staff is amazing! She has been there since February 2026. She is very happy and we know she’s taken care of. The nurse manager has acted above and beyond with us.
I love being as independent as possible among a friendly and compassionate group of caregivers who have become my family. My children and relatives are free to visit, have a little party for me, or take me out for a visit or appointment… And when I don’t feel well, I can just take time out and be wrapped in my room in a cocoon of safety, warmth and love.
Her first few days she was very emotional with the changes happening, and there was constantly someone in her room comforting her and just talking to her to keep her spirits up. Recently she told me one of the nurses stayed past her shift to paint her nails after she had been talking about wanting to go get them done. That to me is just going above and beyond, and being there because you genuinely love people…
Bridges
My parents lived at Arbor Terrace Glenview for six years. We found the staff to be kind and treat all the residents respectfully. If we had concerns about our parents health or a specific situation, all we had to do was call and someone would follow up on the situation… The Bridges memory program was very helpful to my mother.

If we had concerns about our parents health or a specific situation, all we had to do was call and someone would follow up on the situation. We could tell they genuinely cared about all the residents. Guillermo was definitely our go-to for anything going on with my parents. Medical issues and concerns were handled discreetly. They not only got to know the residents that lived there they got to know the entire family.. the entire staff got to know all the residents personal preferences from the time they woke up, food preferences , activity preferences, to the time they like to go to bed. The bridges memory program was very helpful to my mother.
What stood out most to me was the Bridges program run by Rin. You can authentically feel the care, thought, and effort that goes into creating meaningful experiences for residents. The décor, designs, and activities are beautifully executed, and the crafts are especially refreshing—they feel creative, engaging, and dignified rather than overly simplistic or childlike, which I've noticed at some other communities.
Memory Care
My Mom has been in Arbor Terrace memory care for a year now. She has had amazing care… the caregivers treat her like family. Gigi, Jose, Carah, Sherri, Roxy and the whole team have taken my mom under their wing.
The facility was clean, well-serviced, and there was a great array of activities for the assisted living side as well as the secured memory care side. We always felt like our mom was safe and cared for… While this was an incredibly difficult time for our family, Arbor was such a great place that it made our experience with a tragic disease so much easier.
I love my Mom and the best way I can show that love is for her to live in the Evergreen Community at Arbor Terrace. From the lovely environment to the daily activities to the delicious food to the caring staff I know she is in the right place for her and the right place for me.
