From an early age, Cheryl knew her life’s work was to serve others. Cheryl has worked in senior living for over 35 years, having worked in various types of communities including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care prior to joining The Arbor Company in 2018. Shelby began her career in the hotel industry but found her true calling was working with seniors. Shelby joined the Arbor Company in 2018 where she promotes The Summit to local professionals and business leaders as well as connecting personally with potential residents and their families, helping them to make the best choice for their specific needs.

Resident Care Director
Peter has a passion for caring for seniors and brings more than 15 years of nursing experience to his role. Before joining the Arbor Company, Peter’s history included working in long term care facilities as the Director of Nursing and in hospital settings in other leadership roles. Internationally he worked with Doctors Without Borders to provide much needed healthcare in underserved areas of the world.
Business Office Manager
Pat has over 25 years of experience with bookkeeping and accounting and enjoys working with the residents and the employees at The Summit. Making the residents smile is the highlight of her day!
Dining Services Director
Jacob followed his talent for cooking and made it into his career. A graduate of Kendall College Culinary School, Jacob gained great experience working in restaurants and upscale venues, but he found his best fit was in working with seniors. He truly enjoys sharing his culinary creations and engaging with the residents.
