Some of the best moments in senior living start with a simple question: what if we just said yes? In the newest episode of The Golden Gang, host Phil Rizzo welcomes Angel Allaire, Vice President of Engagement and Training at The Arbor Company, for a conversation about three decades of turning big ideas into real experiences.

Angel has spent 33 years in healthcare and 20 with Arbor, and she has a story for nearly every one of them. She talks about the Dementia Live training that left even her most seasoned caregivers in tears, and the "be well, be social" structure that keeps community calendars balanced and meaningful. She also shares how residents wrote, filmed, and acted in a short movie that went on to screen at the Garden State Film Festival, complete with a red carpet premiere. Then there is the day veterans climbed into a restored World War II plane and came back down with stories they had not told in years.

One resident even said the flight beat sharing a stage with Bob Hope. Angel reveals how this very podcast came to be, born from a brainstorm where money and logistics were no object and a resident could host the show.

It is a warm look at what becomes possible when a team is encouraged to dream, and the residents are right there dreaming with them. Press play to hear the full conversation.
