Mackenzie Arias

Mackenzie Arias

Executive Director

    Mackenzie joined Arbor in January 2022. After earning a degree in psychology from Kean University, Mackenzie began her career at a continuing care community about 5 years ago, allowing her to work with residents at all levels of care and cognitive abilities. There, she earned her Certified Assisted Living Administrator License and moved on to an assisted living facility where she oversaw a memory care neighborhood. For the past 2 years Mackenzie has been working as the Engagement Director at Arbor Terrace Mountainside. While in that role Mackenzie had joined Arbor’s Executive Director in Training program for the last 8 months. Mackenzie and her husband have two dogs, Cinder and Luna who may stop by. In her free time Mackenzie enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, and visiting local vineyards.

Xiomara Padilla - Norwood

Xiomara Padilla

Community Sales Director

Xiomara began her career in the memory care unit of a hospital and immediately learned how much she loved working with the senior population. She has dedicated most of her career to seniors, holding Recreation Director roles in different communities. Xiomara now finds joy in the sales department, helping families find their perfect senior living options. Xiomara holds a BS in Therapeutic Recreational Services from The University of Connecticut and loves to spend her free time going to the beach, traveling, taking yoga, and singing in the church choir. She has been happily married to her high school sweetheart for 25 years and is blessed with three amazing daughters and the cutest labradoodle.

Lori Mikajlo

Memory Care Director

Lori brings 27 years of nursing experience to Arbor Terrace Norwood, the majority of that time spent serving seniors in assisted living communities. Her experience also includes hospice nursing and intake, as well as time spent as an emergency medical technician. As Memory Care Director. Lori shares her passion for working with the senior population, specifically in memory care. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her partner surf fishing in Cape May for sharks and other seasonal fish, as well as spending time with her two dogs, Petunia and Henry.

Michael Kerr

Resident Care Director

Michael comes to us with thirteen years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse. Michael started his nursing career in acute care and has spent the last five years as a nursing director at a skilled nursing facility in Essex County. Michael has a passion for providing quality care and enjoys working with team members to achieve the best care possible. Michael is a US Army veteran and enjoys fishing, hiking, and bike riding. Michael and his wife, Elizabeth have one child, Amelia, and two cats; Rudolph and Cheeto.

Denise O'Donoghue

Engagement Director

Denise has a background in social work and a love of caring for others. She brings her signature style to the Engaged Life Department, helping encourage a happy, healthy, and fun lifestyle for every individual in our community. When she is not crafting experiences for seniors, Denise is up to her elbows in butter and flour or outside digging in the soil.

Rachel Piker

Dining Director

Rachel is passionate about working in assisted living communities and nursing homes thanks to the very close relationships she had with her elderly grandparents, great aunts, and uncles—their memories a constant reminder of why she chose her profession. She has been interested in being part of the culinary industry her entire life, and after attending culinary school, went on to study in Italy, completing the Italian Culinary School for Foreigners. Rachel lives in Suffern, New York with her kitty, Bailey, loves traveling, and enjoys exploring new cuisines and cultures. In her free time, she enjoys taking her motorcycle out for road trips with her stepfather.

Garrett Catalo

Maintenance Director

Garrett comes to us with 5 years of experience in senior living. He previously worked as the Director of Maintenance at The Buckingham at Norwood. Garrett enjoys working with seniors because he finds their stories and presence very rewarding. Garrett's friendly demeanor is a great fit for his role because you will often find him chatting and engaging with residents. Garrett grew up in Rockland County, New York, and currently lives in Nanuet with his fiancé and dog, Tucker.
