Executive Director
Dianne O'Kelley is Executive Director at Arbor Terrace Asheville, joining the community in 2016 with more than 30 years of administration and financial management experience. She brings strong leadership and sound stewardship, and believes assisted living is about more than providing care. It's about creating meaningful relationships and fostering a sense of connection. Dianne is committed to helping each resident live their best life while giving families peace of mind knowing their loved ones are cared for with compassion and respect. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and attending concerts.
Community Sales Director
Cathy Naber joined Arbor Terrace Asheville in 2024, bringing five years of senior living experience with her. She is a native of the area, having lived in the region all her life and graduating from Western Carolina University, just an hour away. Cathy finds the greatest reward in building friendships, earning the trust and respect of the families she meets, and creating partnerships within the community as a whole. She is also proud of her family, including her husband of 27 years and their three adult children. Cathy truly enjoys walking alongside the families, residents, and staff at her community.
Resident Care Director
Joshua Almeida is the Resident Care Director at Arbor Terrace Asheville. A dedicated nurse with more than 12 years of experience, Joshua brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and a background in sales and marketing to his leadership role, strengthening his ability to build strong teams and communicate effectively with families. In his personal time, he enjoys traveling, taking his dogs hiking, and volunteering in the community, and he's committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment for residents, staff, and families at Arbor Terrace Asheville.
Resident Relations Director
Gina Israel has been with Arbor Terrace Asheville since 2000, supporting residents, families, guests, and staff with their requests and needs. Outside of work, she enjoys her six grandchildren and her two hounds.
Memory Care Director
Wendy Unick joined Arbor Terrace Asheville in 2021 with 26 years of health care and senior living experience. She brings deep expertise in memory care support and is dedicated to shifting the focus of dementia care toward recognizing each resident's unique life story, leading with empathy and expertise. She ensures families receive the guidance they need while supporting residents each day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, and reading.
Engagement Director
Missy Brigance is the Engagement Director at Arbor Terrace Asheville, holding a master's degree in counseling and bringing a strong background in event planning, organization, and creativity. She began her career in engagement with The Arbor Company in 2016 and has found her work with seniors deeply fulfilling. Missy brings warmth, creativity, and thoughtful planning to every experience she helps create. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, reading, and lounging with her chihuahuas.
Dining Director
Edward Kretz brings 33 years of culinary experience to his role as Dining Director, with a background spanning fine dining, long-term care, hotel, and country club settings. He holds an associate's degree in Dining Operations and a CDM, CFPP accreditation from the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals, and previously served as a chef at three top 500 Florida restaurants. Edward has resided in North Carolina for 17 years, and in his free time he enjoys DJing, working out, and cooking.
Maintenance Director
Ron Ritchie has served as Maintenance Director at Arbor Terrace Asheville since February 2020, bringing more than 25 years of experience in healthcare maintenance across skilled nursing and assisted living communities. Ron takes pride in creating a safe, comfortable, well-cared-for environment for residents and families.
Business Office Director
Crystal Sams serves as Business Office Director at Arbor Terrace Asheville, bringing more than 25 years of experience in office administration and business operations. She has built a reputation as a motivating leader and dedicated advocate for her team, believing that successful organizations are built by investing in people and creating positive workplace environments where individuals can thrive. Crystal holds degrees in Office Administration and Virtual Office Administration, and her collaborative leadership style allows her to strengthen processes and contribute to a positive experience for residents and their families.
