Executive Director, Susan Pegg Fairbairn presented her "Planting the Seed with Susan" activity. Susan not only shares her knowledge of plants, but also "plants" those special "seeds" of compassion, kindness and other positives for inner growth as she engages with our residents.

We celebrated Elvis' birthday a day early because his biggest fan was celebrating her birthday! We munched on his favorite snack, fried peanut butter & banana sandwiches, watched an informative short documentary, and used the Eversound program that featured his music. We also had had some fun with photo ops—and no one stepped on his blue suede shoes!

Every month our residents create a collaborative art piece to display in our lobby. For the month of January, they chose the snow theme. Residents picked out their wooden snowflake and painted it with creative delight, showing us that truly no snowflake is alike! Though we've enjoyed the recent warm weather, we hope that snow will come soon.
