At Arbor Terrace Sudley Manor, the heart of our home is our residents. We love getting to know the seniors who call Arbor Terrace home, and dedicate ourselves to uncovering their favorite things. Our team members are passionate about cultivating deep connections with every resident, and our relationships with one another mean that we have the opportunity to provide even better support, care, and encouragement.

Every one of our residents is unique, coming from a variety of backgrounds, neighborhoods, and experiences. For Professor Virginia Morales, living at Arbor Terrace means sharing her favorite things with others while getting the support she needs from our team.

About Professor Morales

Professor Virginia Morales is a resident here at Arbor Terrace Sudley Manor, but that is certainly not the most interesting thing about her! We love having her here and watching her interact with other residents and teammates. But we also love learning more about her fascinating past and seeing her love of service in action right here in our halls and community.

Before retirement, Professor Morales taught at the University of Mexico. She was a professor of Spanish and cherished her time in the classroom. Her drive to help others shaped her career and her life, and she continued her life’s mission of helping her community as she made her way into retirement. Professor Morales has been an active volunteer throughout her retirement years, and she continues to help others through her efforts here at Arbor Terrace Sudley Manor.

When she isn’t helping others, chatting with neighbors, or coaxing a smile out of a staff member, Professor Morales is busy with her other favorite hobbies like reading, writing, and singing. You can also often find her anywhere there’s an animal, as she loves spending time with visiting pets.

Life at Arbor Terrace

When Professor Morales decided to call Arbor Terrace Sudley Manor home, she was looking forward to extra support and interaction with staff members. She was also ready to keep an active social calendar with her new friends and neighbors. However, she was not expecting the true community she found here.

Her favorite thing about Arbor Terrace? The people. “The people who live and work here are so kind and helpful,” Professor Morales says. She loves interacting with the staff and residents. It’s common to find her visiting with other residents in the hallway or making friends with a resident who has just moved in.

Besides the deep sense of community Professor Morales has found here, she is also fond of the feelings of safety and comfort she gets from having dedicated caregivers nearby. “It’s a safe and pleasant place to live,” she says. “There are plenty of activities to keep you engaged throughout the day, and the food is good.”

We are honored to spend time with Professor Morales every day and to share life with all the residents who call Arbor Terrace Sudley Manor home. If you’d like to see what all the buzz is about, call our community to set up a tour. You can meet the residents and staff that make Arbor Terrace so special.
