Assisted Living
While Arbor Terrace has excellent facilities and a great location, its true selling point is its people. The actions and attitudes of the residents, staff and management combine to make this a very special place to live… The staff is both caring and responsive, and very often, anticipate the varied needs of residents… After visiting five assisted facilities before choosing Arbor Terrace, and living here for 6 months, I'm confident I made the right choice.
My experience has been much more pleasant than I was looking for. I did not want to come here, but it surprised me how much I like this place — the people are very friendly, the workers and the residents. Everyone in this building is very upbeat and with a smile and not afraid to say hello… I really like this place and I enjoy my being here. It keeps surprising me how much I feel good here.
My mom has been there for three months. She couldn't be happier — the staff take such amazing care of the residents. They are treated like family… They have so many activities to keep them active, plus having physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy onsite… Our whole family is so impressed with the care mom is receiving. It is such a relief to know that she has a new home with her every need looked after.
Bridges
My sister and I toured Arbor Terrace with Lisa. Lisa was patient and knowledgeable and proved herself to be an excellent resource for the stage of life that we are finding ourselves in… The Bridges Facility is absolutely perfect! The entire facility looked, felt, and smelled clean. The staff were all friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. We were able to interact with a few of the residents who seemed equally happy there.
Moving to Arbor Terrace was a big change for me, and my first few weeks were definitely overwhelming… But little by little it became easier thanks to the kindness of both the staff and residents who have been incredibly welcoming and always willing to help… I enjoy staying active by attending exercise classes, art classes, and going out on outings. My family is relieved to know I'm safe, busy, and well cared for… Arbor Terrace has made me feel supported every step of the way.
Overall, the experience with the Arbor Terrace has been positive. We selected this location because of Bridges program and proximity to our house. The facilities are well maintained and staff is friendly.
Memory Care
My mom has been in the Memory Care (Evergreen) neighborhood for 2.5 years. The staff in the neighborhood and throughout the facility is compassionate and attentive. But one of the best things at Arbor Terrace is the salon. Tracy is amazing and always manages to draw Mom out and make her feel special and pampered. Mom has a standing, every other week, appointment and her interaction with Tracy always gives me a glimpse of Mom of ten years ago.
Arbor Terrace has been a wonderful place for me to meet new people. Instead of being cooped up at home, I've had the chance to connect with folks my age… I especially love playing Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune; we turn it into a friendly competition, which makes it even more enjoyable. I also appreciate the staff here who are so knowledgeable about memory care and able to understand and support someone like me. Plus, our wonderful physical therapy program helps me stay strong.
My family and I toured the facility last week. We were thoroughly impressed how clean the facility was. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Vincent was superb. He made my mother feel at ease as she was apprehensive about leaving my father in the facility (memory care). The list of daily activities are great for those in memory care.
