Her father always wanted a son to name after Jack Dempsey, the boxer, but instead, he had three girls. Henceforth, he settled into calling his middle daughter Jack and the rest of the world followed suit.

Our Neighborhood la Orana! Polynesian-Themed Event for August
la Orana means “Hello!” in Tahitian culture and is used in conjunction with a lei for a traditional welcome. Arbor Terrace Peachtree City hosted a three-part Polynesian-themed event for August. First, we took residents on a simulated flight where they learned about aviation from our flight attendant expert. Then the residents “landed” in Oahu, Hawai’i for our very special Polynesian Luau Party.
