Meet the Team at Arbor Terrace Highland Park

Each member of our team brings a heart for service, a passion for seniors, and the experience to create exceptional opportunities for our residents.

Christopher Dale - Ex. Dir. of our Highland Park based assisted living community.

Christopher Dale

Executive Director

Christopher found his calling in senior living after caring for his grandfather. Over the past 20 years, he has opened senior living communities, created innovative programming, and successfully lead teams to provide best-in-class services. In his free time, Christopher enjoys cycling throughout Highland Park and hiking along the beach.

Jeff Altschul - Community Sales Dir - of our Highland Park based memory care community.

Jeff Altschul

Community Sales Director

Jeff studied journalism while at Columbia College and believes everyone has a very captivating story, which he is able to explore with all potential and current residents and families. Jeff has been with Arbor Terrace since day one of the transition and takes a lot of pride in being a part of the new start for the community. As he lives in the neighborhood, he had the pleasure of watching the development of the community from when the first brick was placed until today. He savors the opportunity to be a part of its evolution and growth. Although he has only worked in long-term care for nine years, working with seniors comes naturally for Jeff, as he has a very warm and affectionate relationship with his grandparents and holds great admiration for them. Jeff is very invested in the surrounding Highland Park community as he has two daughters who attend school at Highland Park High School. He enjoys playing basketball, working in the garden, and spending all his remaining time with family.

Zuzanna Gibala

Resident Care Director

Zuzanna has been in the healthcare field for 20 years. She began her career as a CNA while attending school, eventually becoming a nurse. She has experience in a variety of healthcare settings, but her heart is in working with seniors. As Director of Nursing, her goal is to provide support and mentor her care staff while advocating for those that can't advocate for themselves. When not working, she enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors with her three children.

Kate Kloman - Memory Care Dir of our Highland Park based assisted living community.

Kate Kloman

Memory Care Director

Kate has been in the healthcare field for eight years, starting as a CNA in a memory care unit where she fell in love with helping the people who need her the most. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2013, and her Practical Nurse License in 2019. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, and a Certified Dementia Care Manager. Her goal is to turn every moment with her residents into an opportunity for connection and meaning. When she’s not at work, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and baking vegan cookies.

Miranda DeJesus - Business Office Dir. of our Highland Park based assisted living community.

Miranda DeJesus

Business Office Director

Miranda attended Northwestern University where she studied Psychological Services with intention of starting a career in adolescent mental health. By happy accident, she stumbled into long-term care. She has nine years combined experience in senior care, home care, assisted living, memory care, and supportive living. Miranda’s greatest joy is talking about her daughter, who is an honorary member of the team as she was born during the same month the community welcomed its first resident.

James Camp - Dining Dir of our Highland Park based assisted living community.

James Camp

Dining Director

James began his culinary career in the fast-food business when he was 16 years old. All he ever wanted to do is cook, and after working for several North Shore-area fast-food chains, he developed a taste for finer foods. He moved to Atlanta to work for his cousin, a certified Executive Chef opening his own restaurant. Over the next six years, he worked at some of Georgia's hottest restaurants. He moved back to North Shore in 1989 and served as Executive Chef at Bertucci’s in Highwood for seven years. He also enjoyed his work as Corporate Chef for Cucina Roma, for which he opened five restaurants with Italian concepts. Most recently, he has taken on dining from a new perspective as Dining Director at Arbor Terrace Highland Park. He is proud to say he has been serving the community since July 2020 and loves to dazzle the residents with his years of experience and passion for food and customer service.
