Jane Ford, CRCFA
I am originally from Charleston, SC, but our family have called the Upstate home since 1983. After a career in the hospitality industry, in 1997 my heart found a new passion in working with our senior population. I joined The Gardens team in January 2005 and I truly love working with this amazing team. I strive to make a difference in the lives of our residents and staff, but they are the ones who make a difference in mine.
Adam Olson, CRCFA
Assistant Executive Director
I am married with two daughters and I first started working in long term care in early 1999. I joined The Gardens in 2003 and have worked in several different departments since my start. I am currently in charge of internal marketing and overseeing the Dietary and Maintenance department. Ever since I walked through our front doors, I have known that The Gardens is the perfect fit for me. I could not imagine another job that could possibly be more rewarding.
Debbie Bennett, RN
Resident Care Director
I joined The Gardens at Eastside in 2005; I am originally from Indiana but now call Greenville my home. I have over 16+ years of Nursing experience in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing care. I LOVE making a positive difference in the lives of my residents every day. I always love to see them smile. I am blessed to be a part of The Gardens at Eastside family.
Senior Engagement Director
I started my career with The Gardens in 2002. I have the privilege of leading and supporting our amazing Engagement and Dementia Care Training team. Our team is dedicated to creating deep connections and making meaningful moments for our residents. At the Arbor Company we believe that Dementia Care education and training are key in helping our staff provide the best possible care and programs. I feel very blessed to be a part of The Gardens and our residents lives each day.
Business Office Director
I was born and raised in the Upstate, where I attended Hampton Park Christian School and graduated from Clemson in 2013. I live in Easley with my husband, Tim, our two Ragdoll cats and two sweet dogs. I enjoy spending time with my family, and we love backpacking whenever possible. Through my time spent volunteering in assisted living communities, I discovered a love for working with seniors. I’m excited to bring my passion and commitment to senior care to The Gardens!
Hello! My name is Patrick Josiah and I am the Director of Maintenance here at The Gardens. I was born in Hawaii and spent most of my life there before moving to Greenville in the latter part of 2003. I have been a carpenter and remodeler for over 16 years. I joined The Garden’s family in 2012. I love being able to assist the residents in all of their special maintenance requests but my favorite thing is playing my Ukulele for them at the weekly mix and mingle.
Community Relations Director
My husband and I are originally from Michigan and we moved our young family to the upstate of South Carolina in 1992; we’ve called Greenville our home ever since! I joined The Gardens At Eastside team in 2008 and as a Certified Senior Advisor, I feel so blessed to help our growing Senior community and their families, as they navigate the complex issues of their journey.

"When we met on Wednesday for my orientation, you told me with a conviction that you had the best staff. I felt confident that you were telling me the truth. Today, I, my sister Gail and mom experienced it! We are so grateful for all of the assistance they offered and the warm welcome we received. We did our best to let them know how much we appreciated them. It meant so much to us on a day that had a lot of unknowns with how my mom would react. I know you are very proud of your staff and should be. The spirit of excellence is very apparent on their faces and how they communicate with the residents and family members. My family and I are very thankful for your high standards. We are looking forward to being a part of The Gardens community."
Debbie, Family Member
"I feel very lucky to have found this beautiful facility with this caring staff to make this time in our Moms journey better than we had dared hope for."
Laurie R., Family Member
"The purpose of this note is to thank you and your staff for the care and help our family received while moving our mother into The Gardens on the first of November. The staff was not only helpful to us but most welcoming and kind towards mom. They immediately made her feel at home."
"Thank you so much for the kindness and excellent care you provided for my mom during her stay at The Gardens. My husband and I were able to relax and feel secure knowing she was in your care. We were especially pleased with the “personal” level of attention she received, the excellent care that stabilized her blood sugar, encouraging her to socialize and just generally helping her to recover and enjoy a better quality of life. Thank you again for all you did for my mother and for all that you do for all of the individuals in your care. Your community was a great blessing in our life; we will always be grateful to you."
"I want to express my appreciation for all you and your staff have done for my parents over the last two years. I have been so very impressed with the dedication and caring of the entire staff. I had looked at other facilities and there are none that compare. As I had told you before, my parents really came to think of it as “home” and the staff as family. In my opinion that is the highest praise!"
