More Affordable Than You May Think

Senior living is likely much more affordable than you may think. Getting Started FAQs

How are you prepared for COVID-19?

We are focused on everyone’s safety, and have processes and procedures in place to limit exposure and keep the community clean and sanitized. You can read more about our company’s approach to COVID-19 on our coronavirus information page

Please note that the other frequently asked questions on this page were written in a time before the COVID-19 pandemic. We left them here for you so that you can learn about our community under normal circumstances. Some of our procedures have changed in the name of safety due to the pandemic. We will be sure to tell you about how we’re keeping everyone safe when you join us for a virtual tour.

I don’t know anyone who lives in your community. How can I make new friends?

There are always friendly faces at The Vantage at Cityview! Our residents tend to become fast friends, and you can meet new friends easily. Try joining one of our community clubs, attending a social program, or simply saying hello to a few new people you see in the halls.

How do I know which type of senior living is best for me?

We’d love to help guide you through that decision. Our team can learn more about you and any challenges or worries you may have before you decide to move. We have years of experience and can confidently lead you in the direction of the senior living option that is best for you.

The Vantage at Cityview offers three types of senior living options on one campus: independent living, assisted living, and dementia care. No matter where you live, you will enjoy the amenities, the activities, and the Vantage lifestyle, including personalized care and deep connections with those around you. However, assisted living and memory care offer more specialized care and additional assistance, which is ideal if you could benefit from easy access to caregivers, or are living with Alzheimer’s disease or another type of dementia.

I’m a bit shy. Do I have to attend group activities?

At The Vantage at Cityview, you always get to make your own decisions! We know everyone has unique personalities and preferences, and our team works hard to develop opportunities everyone will enjoy. You may choose to skip out on large group activities but participate in a lecture or book club. If you don’t see something that interests you, tell us! We are always looking for new ideas.

How do I schedule a tour?

We’d love to meet you and show you what life is like inside The Vantage at Cityview! Call our team to schedule a tour or to set up a time to join in on an activity or a meal. We would love to introduce you to some of the residents and staff that make The Vantage so special.

I have a special diet. Can I still eat in the dining room?

Our chefs are trained and prepared to offer a variety of entree options for any diet. Our dining team strives to cook healthy meals with very little added sugar and no added salt — but with plenty of flavor! We cater to many different tastes and dietary needs, and will work hard to help you meet your health goals.

Is there a buy-in fee?

You won’t have to worry about a buy-in fee when you choose The Vantage at Cityview. Instead, you pay for the services you need when you need them, month by month.

Can I come and go as I please?

Absolutely! You can head out to meet your friends at a favorite restaurant or attend a family dinner. For the safety of our memory care residents, our Evergreen neighborhood is secured. Residents can still go out, but need to be accompanied by a staff member, family member, or friend.

Are meals included?

Assisted living and memory care services feature three chef-prepared meals each day in our social dining room so that you can enjoy meals with your friends and neighbors. Independent living residents enjoy breakfast plus their choice of lunch or dinner every day. Want to share your meal experience with family members or friends? We’d love to serve them as well. You can order guest meals for your visitors to enjoy in the dining room as well.

My father has lived in assisted living for about 1 1/2 years. It's a gorgeous community with caring and compassionate staff. They have a daily activities from exercise class, art class, happy hours, dinner outings, nightly movies, and much more. Wonderful dining room with great food, weekly housecleaning, and a great maintenance team. They also have an awesome on-site Physical Therapy team. I highly recommend The Vantage for your loved one.

My parents have lived here for 5 + years. As a family this has been by far the best choice we have ever made. Knowing they are well taken care of, the food options are great, entertainment is great for them, church service on Sunday's, transportation to appointments and shopping, just to mention a few advantages for them.

My life here at The Vantage for the past 12 1/2 years has been wonderful! The people are friendly, the food is delicious and there are numerous activities to choose from. I enjoy playing bridge and participating in the art classes here.

Barbara Resident

The Vantage is a very nice place to live. We have friends here, we have games here, and we have music here. We all go out to dinner together. The staff here is very nice. They are nice to talk to, nice to be around and they have very nice personalities and attitudes.

Dorothy D. Resident

I've lived here for 2 years I like it. I love the food the activities staff and enjoy the classes they have for exercise. I would recommend The Vantage to any one looking to move to an assisted living community.
