Barrington Terrace has been such a blessing for our family. The staff is incredibly compassionate and professional, always going above and beyond to make the residents feel at home. It’s a huge relief knowing our loved one is in such a safe, clean, and caring environment. Highly recommend for anyone looking for assisted living in Fort Myers!
I can't thank this place enough for everything they have done for my mother to the day she passed away. I had taken a step to remove my mother from a horrible assisted living place. Was the best choice I have ever made. Thank you to all the lead staff, nurses, MAs, and CNAs for making the rest of my mom's life peaceful.
We chose Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers after touring several communities, and it’s been the best decision for our family. The staff are genuinely caring, attentive, and always communicate updates promptly. The community is clean, bright, and welcoming, with engaging activities that keep residents active and happy. Meals are good and they do their best to honor special requests. The memory care team, especially, shows real compassion and patience every day. While it’s not the cheapest option, the quality of care and peace of mind we’ve gained make it worth every penny. Highly recommend to any family seeking trustworthy assisted living or memory care in Fort Myers.
Bridges
It can be very challenging when a beloved family member is in need of immediate care, and you live 1,000 miles away. Someone must have been looking over us because we found Barrington and felt an immediate personal connection when talking with the staff and residents. My brother now resides in the Bridges wing. When we get down to visit, we can see he is well taken care of and safe. There is a happy, welcoming atmosphere, and the care he receives is exceptional.
I work as a Registered Nurse in NY and was concerned about placing my Uncle in a facility in a different state. We decided on Barrington Terrace in Fort Myers and could not be happier with the care my Uncle is receiving.
He has been a resident of Barrington Bridges for over a year, and in that time, his mood has improved, he is a healthy weight, and most importantly, he is in a safe place. The entire staff at Barrington Terrace Fort Myers is welcoming, empathetic, knowledgeable, proactive, and the facility itself is clean and well kept.
My uncle was recently moved to the Bridges neighborhood in Barrington Terrace, which I recommend for anyone looking for high-functioning memory care in South Florida. Part of the reason we chose Barrington was the Bridges neighborhood. My family is grateful there's an in-between option for people who don't need full memory care, but still need some extra consideration.
Memory Care
I can not feel more blessed for finding the Barrington Terrace Community. My mom has been a resident of the memory care community for 14 months. What an incredible place, the staff is warm and inviting, and they care about your loved one. I could not have found a safer place to call my mom’s home. This COVID-19 has really taken a toll on all of us. The staff has made many changes to create a healthy and safe environment for our loved ones. I do not think 5 stars are enough to tell you the quality of care that is given.
Our Mother has been at Barrington Terrace for almost two years, and she has received nothing less than the BEST of care, kindness, and love from the amazing employees of BT. The staff at every level should be commended and praised for their excellent knowledge and care for the residents. Even during these trying times, they have done an amazing job following the rules, plus helping our family communicate with our Mother. I highly recommend Barrington Terrace to anyone looking for assisted living or memory care for their loved one.
My family and I recently moved my father here after being in a different memory care ALF for over a year. To start, the leadership team has shown true empathy, understanding, and involvement in my father’s transition of care. They worked with my mother and me to ensure that it was the right fit for my father and his needs. The caregivers and staff have been truly caring and attentive to my father’s physical and cognitive needs. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and feels more like a hotel than a care facility. We are grateful and hope this level of quality care continues.
