More Affordable Than You May Think

Senior living is likely much more affordable than you may think. When you take into consideration your current mortgage, utility bills, landscaping or other home-maintenance costs, and other fees you pay to attend your favorite activities or go out to eat, senior living often costs less monthly — and gets you access to so much more! Let us help you discover additional programs, such as VA benefits, that could help offset assisted and memory care costs.

Getting Started FAQs

I don’t know anyone who lives in your community. How can I make new friends?

There are always friendly faces at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park! Our residents tend to become fast friends, and you can meet new friends easily. Try joining one of our community clubs, attending a social program, or simply saying hello to a few new people you see in the halls.

How do I know which type of senior living is best for me?

We’d love to help guide you through that decision. Our team can learn more about you and any challenges or worries you may have before you decide to move. We have years of experience and can confidently lead you in the direction of the senior living option that is best for you.

Arbor Terrace Citrus Park offers three types of senior living options on one campus: independent living, assisted living, and memory care. No matter where you live, you will enjoy the amenities, the activities, and the Arbor lifestyle, including personalized care and deep connections with those around you. However, assisted living and memory care offer more specialized care and additional assistance, which is ideal if you could benefit from easy access to caregivers, or are living with Alzheimer’s disease or another type of dementia.

I’m a bit shy. Do I have to attend group activities?

At Arbor Terrace Citrus Park, you always get to make your own decisions! We know everyone has unique personalities and preferences, and our team works hard to develop opportunities everyone will enjoy. You may choose to skip out on large group activities but participate in a lecture or book club. If you don’t see something that interests you, tell us! We are always looking for new ideas.

How do I schedule a tour?

We’d love to meet you and show you what life is like inside Arbor Terrace Citrus Park! Call our team to schedule a tour or to set up a time to join in on an activity or a meal. We would love to introduce you to some of the residents and staff that make Arbor Terrace so special.

I have a special diet. Can I still eat in the dining room?

Our chefs are trained and prepared to offer a variety of entree options for any diet. Our dining team strives to cook healthy meals with very little added sugar and no added salt — but with plenty of flavor! We cater to many different tastes and dietary needs, and will work hard to help you meet your health goals.

Is there a buy-in fee?

You won’t have to worry about a buy-in fee when you choose Arbor Terrace. Instead, you pay for the services you need when you need them, month by month.

Can I come and go as I please?

Absolutely! You can head out to meet your friends at a favorite restaurant or attend a family dinner. For the safety of our memory care residents, our Evergreen neighborhood is secured. Residents can still go out, but need to be accompanied by a staff member, family member, or friend.

Are meals included?

Assisted living and memory care services feature three chef-prepared meals each day in our social dining room so that you can enjoy meals with your friends and neighbors. Independent living residents enjoy breakfast plus their choice of lunch or dinner every day. Want to share your meal experience with family members or friends? We’d love to serve them as well. You can order guest meals for your visitors to enjoy in the dining room as well.

I really enjoy the resident parties and variety of entertainment that is provided. The staff is very friendly, and they try to accommodate our needs. It’s nice to know that people really care about you.

Resident

We moved our mother into the Evergreen (memory care) neighborhood at Arbor Terrace from another local community. She is a new person, much happier, and all of our stress levels have dropped dramatically.

Resident

My mother is Marilyn Bartholomew and has been at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park in Tampa since the first week it opened. She has been in the Bridges care. I visit mom on a daily basis and have a good idea as to how she is being cared for.

Family Member

Arbor Terrace staff are always approachable and friendly. They always take the time to help out in whatever way they can. Each time I enter the community I am so grateful to have such a caring place for mom to live.

Family Member

I used to sit home and skip meals rather than eat alone. Now I enjoy the company of friends and I’m eating three meals a day. I have a regimented exercise program that includes a nice morning walk on the grounds.

Resident

Thank you so much for being the answer to our prayers and doing such an excellent job helping us keep our family safe. That is really what you do. It is much more than selling a place to live. You are giving families hope and peace of mind. God bless you.
