We are thrilled to welcome our new Executive Director, Kimberly Baker, to Arbor Terrace Exton!

Kimberly Baker Headshot-1Kimberly began her career as a Business Analyst at a marketing firm following her undergraduate studies at Philadelphia University. In addition to supporting the inside sales team, Kimberly chaired the company’s Employee Engagement Committee - organizing fun and exciting events for 100+ employees. After four years, Kimberly left to pursue a career in large-scale event planning. But Kimberly felt something was missing from her career. She craved more human connection and wanted to serve others; that’s when she decided to make a career change and accepted a position as an Engage Life Director at a senior living facility in Center City, Philadelphia.

“Immediately, I knew that I had found my calling—working with seniors is incredibly rewarding work and I am so happy to have found an industry where I get to make an impact every day." She took her passion for learning to the next level and obtained a Master’s in Health Administration from Temple University in May 2021.

Kimberly lived in Philadelphia for 15 years but grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico which is where her parents and family still live. Although she loves returning home every now and again, Kimberly is absolutely in love with the city of Philadelphia and bought a house in Fairmount a few years ago, where she currently lives with her boyfriend and their golden retriever puppy, Lemon. In Kimberly’s free time, she enjoys exploring the city, yoga, cooking, reading, crafting, and designing her home.

Welcome to the team, Kimberly! Your experience and passion for helping others will be an asset to the Arbor team.

If you’re in the building, be sure to stop by and say hello to Kimberly and her pup, Lemon!
