Beth Robertson

Executive Director

Beth is an expert in the healthcare industry, and has worked in senior care for over 16 years. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Assisted Living Administrator and has a Masters in Business Administration. Beth has lived in Germantown for the past ten years with her family and dogs.

Kim Tanner

Director of Sales

Kim Tanner, Director of Sales, brings 18 years of experience in senior living and 10 years of sales expertise. She has worked with United Methodist Retirement Communities, Provision Living, StoryPoint, and The Arbor Company. Originally from Michigan, Kim relocated to Memphis four years ago with her high school sweetheart and husband of 26 years, along with their three children. They quickly found a home at Calvary Baptist Church, where they actively serve the community. Kim loves working with seniors, valuing their wisdom and life experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, participating in church activities, and savoring her favorite foods like Mexican cuisine, Midwest pizza, and burgers.

Josephine Miller

Resident Care Director

Josephine Miller brings 17 years of experience in senior living and total expertise in her field. Throughout her career, she has held various key roles such as a certified nursing assistant, floor nurse, shift supervisor, and hospice admissions nurse, leading up to her current position as Resident Care Director here at Opus. Born and raised in Kenya, Josephine initially worked as an IT assistant before relocating to the United States to pursue her true passion in senior care. She loves working with seniors because that's where her passion is. In her free time, Josephine enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations.

Jannita Johnson

Memory Care Director

Jannita Johnson, Memory Care Director at Opus, has 24 years of dedicated experience in senior living. Her career began as a personal care assistant, followed by roles as a med tech and certified nursing assistant. Jannita progressed to obtain her administrator and nursing licenses, working in acute care rehab, as a travel nurse, unit manager, and assistant director of nursing (ADON) at a long-term care facility. A Memphis native, Jannita actively participates in church and volunteers at domestic violence shelters. She loves working with seniors for their wisdom and enjoys getting to know them. Outside of work, Jannita and her family enjoy relaxing activities like sleeping, listening to music, and traveling.

John Martin Barger

Engagement Director

John Martin Barger, Engagement Director at Opus East Memphis, brings 10 years of experience working with seniors. John Martin began his career with an internship at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens, where he contributed to the Colorcopia art outreach program for older adults. His passion for engaging seniors led him to roles at Kirby Pines, Trezevant Episcopal Home, and Shelby Gardens Place, where he honed his skills in activity planning, memory care, and management. Born and raised in Memphis, John Martin's deep community ties and close relationships with his grandparents inspire his work. He loves working with seniors for their values, wisdom, and rich life stories. In his free time, John Martin enjoys hiking, fly fishing, attending concerts and art shows, and family gatherings.

Masoud MirRasekhian

Dining Director

Masoud MirRasekhian, our Dining Director, boasts over 10 years of experience in senior living. His career includes significant roles such as Director of Hospitality at Farms Baileys and Retirement Communities of America, Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations at By the Sea Resorts in Panama City Beach and Destin, FL, and Executive Chef and Director of Operations at Choctaw Casino Hotel and Resorts. Born in Iran to Persian and Italian parents, Masoud moved to the US at 17 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Finance from UCLA. He loves working with seniors because he feels like he's taking care of his own parents and enjoys seeing them enjoy their lives to the fullest. For fun, Masoud and his family enjoy outdoor activities, surfing, and volunteering at homeless shelters during the holiday season.

Justin Stanford

Maintenance Director

Justin Stanford boasts an impressive background of 27 years in his area of expertise, including two years in senior living. His career spans roles such as Industrial/Commercial Plumbing, Maintenance Plumber for the City of Memphis, Manager of HVAC Plumbing and Heavy Equipment for the City of Memphis. Justin moved to Memphis in middle school and has contributed significantly to maintaining various city facilities, including police, fire, parks, the zoo, the Liberty Bowl, and the Botanic Gardens. He loves working with seniors because he cherishes getting to know them and hearing their life stories. Outside of work, Justin and his family enjoy traveling and hosting gatherings with friends and loved ones.

Jill Stark

Lifestyle Director

Jill Stark is the Lifestyle Director at Opus East Memphis with 10 years of experience in event planning and coordination. Starting as an Enrichment Leader at Belmont Village Senior Living in Memphis, she quickly advanced to Activity Programs Coordinator in Nashville. Returning to Memphis, Jill served as Activity Director at Ave Maria Home for nearly 3 years before joining Opus. She holds an Activity Director Certification from the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) and has experience in Assisted Living and Long-Term Care. Born and raised in Memphis, Jill loves working with seniors, enjoying their wisdom and shared hobbies. In her free time, she delights in spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and large extended family, exploring new restaurants, live music, and strategic board games like Settlers of Catan.

Kylie Follmann

Business Office Director

Kylie Follmann has 1 year of experience in senior living and 5 years in her field of expertise. She began her career at Opus East Memphis as a Move-In Coordinator before being promoted to Business Office Director. Originally from Memphis, she attended Houston High School and was actively involved in volunteering at St. Jude and contributing to a breast cancer research study at UTHSC. Kylie loves working with seniors because of their rich life stories and the wisdom they share. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to old records, traveling, attending concerts, hiking, and watching Alabama football with her husband.
