Independent living cottage residents enjoy daily breakfast selections and 20 meals per month. Invited friends or guests can also join you for meals (including our favorite, Sunday brunch) by simply speaking to a staff member ahead of time.
One of the best parts of living at Opus is being located right in the heart of East Memphis, just a short walk from the Memphis Botanic Garden in Audubon Park. Our diverse neighborhood features shopping and dining experiences you’ll love. Our residents enjoyed spending time with our neighbors from Harding Academy! We welcomed juniors and seniors to our campus last Tuesday. Residents in all neighborhoods and Harding students enjoyed various games like team trivia, bingo, and beach ball volleyball.
We are so grateful to have great neighbors and we look forward to more intergenerational activities!

The Memphis area saw a partial eclipse!
Our residents spent the afternoon watching the eclipse move near totality, with almost 98% of the sun obscured from the moon. We were lucky to be near the path of totality this year, with the next total eclipse in the United States occurring in 2033, over Alaska!
Everyone enjoyed the nice weather, but our afternoon wouldn't have been complete without Moon Pies, Sun Chips, and songs like "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Here Comes the Sun".
We hope all were able to enjoy the eclipse safely!
