Relationships Matter Here

At Arbor Terrace Teaneck, relationships are the foundation of our community. We delight in fostering meaningful relationships — we call them deep connections — with residents and family members, and finding ways to create connections between the seniors who live here. As we learn more about our residents, we can provide even better assistance and programs to meet their ever-evolving needs.

Life Is Better Here

For more than three decades, The Arbor Company has been dedicated to providing the lifestyle and amenities that keep seniors feeling their very best.

  • Art Art and Education Stimulate your mind by learning another language, painting a portrait, or exploring a new craft or skill.
  • people Deep Connections Feel connected to a lively community. We ask the right questions and take the time to listen. It’s why residents accomplish amazing things here — things they never thought possible on their own.
  • PurposefulLivng Health and Wellness Our exercise programs are designed especially for seniors to improve mobility, maintain fitness, and even challenge the brain — all in a fun format.
  • Recreation Purposeful Living At Arbor Terrace, residents are meaningfully engaged throughout the day. An important part of that includes opportunities to volunteer and give back to others while remaining actively involved in the community.
  • Activities Recreation and Leisure We go out of our way to fulfill each resident’s wish list. From live music to barbecues to karaoke nights, if you can dream it, chances are that we’ll try it. And we love helping with family get-togethers.
  • Spiritual Spiritual Journey For many, the health of one’s soul is as meaningful as the health of one’s body. And so we offer ample opportunities for structured religious activities and individual reflection.

Teaneck Elizabeth

Elizabeth Andropoli

Executive Director

“Liz” has been a senior-living professional for more than fifteen years, she entered the industry following a six-year background of experience in health care. She has been Executive Director at Arbor Terrace since 2012. Liz lives in Teaneck with her three children who have obviously inherited her passion for servicing those advanced in age as her two eldest are also employed in the senior-living industry – her youngest, still in school, is interested in computers and finance. Liz has eclectic tastes in leisure activities: while she enjoys parasailing, zip lining and riding motorcycles, her favorite vacation is her annual summertime stay, with her family, at an Amish farm in Pennsylvania.

Nicholas Centolanza

Nicholas Centolanza

Director of Dining

As a 12-year-old boy Nick started to bus tables in his families’ restaurant in the Hudson Valley on the gates of West Point. Every trip inside the kitchen looked like a party to him, compared to the stuffiness of the dining room. He knew the kitchen was where he'd preferably be. After graduating high school, Nick lived in Boston. Working at a classic French restaurant, The Mill Falls. Where he worked alongside of top chefs, most notably, Paul Wahlberg. Nick secured his first management role as Executive Sous Chef in 1992 at The Wellesley Country Club. After moving to Phoenix, AZ, Nick was made Executive Chef of The Moon Valley Country Club in 1997. This club was owned at the time by The Solheim Family, makers of the great PING golf clubs. This club would host The Standard Register PING LPGA tournament annually. Nick was on staff when Hall of Famer Anika Sorenstam shot a 59 in 2001. Returning to the east coast in 2002, he opened and operated four food service businesses. Throughout the next 12 years, including a coffee shop inside of West Point and a southern style BBQ restaurant. Nick ventured into senior living in 2016 and discovered the absolute pleasure of serving the elder population since. The food is terrific, but the relationships take the cake!!

Katie Pastor

Business Office Manager

Katie has been in the service industry for the past sixteen years, five years with Restaurant Associates as Conference Services Director, and the past eleven years at Arbor Terrace. When she began her duties at the business office there were only nine residents – there are now more than one hundred and fifty. Katie was born in Cuba, lived in Spain, and migrated to the US with her parents in 1977. She is married and lives in Ridgefield with her three children. Katie has inherited her passion for working with seniors from her mother who recently retired after thirty years of social work with the aged population. Katie now considers the residents of Arbor Terrace an extension of her family.

Chris Blair

Chris Blair

Maintenance Director

Chris was born in Jamaica. He currently lives in Lodi with his long-time companion, Michelle, who is a marketing consultant. He enjoys attending sporting events, particularly baseball and football, and plays basketball weekly at the YMCA. Chris’ cheery disposition makes him a favorite amongst our residents. Fortunately, his background as a residential and commercial subcontractor served to prepare him well for his work at Arbor Terrace the last 9 years.

andrew fuentes

Andrew Fuentes

Engagement Director

Andrew is a first generation Cuban American. He currently lives in New Milford with his wife Claudia, and their goldendoodle, Carson. Since the age of 14, Andrew has worked in the restaurant industry, hotel industry and his church as a youth leader. Andrew is a graduate of Liberty University with his bachelor’s in social work. He spends his free time hiking, taking pictures, screenwriting and discovering hidden but tasty restaurants. As an Engagement Director he feels fulfilled in his studies by being able to connect with residents far more than when he worked as a member of the concierge. Andrew approaches everyday with a cup of coffee, a deep breath and by repeating his favorite Oscar Wilde quote, “The imagination imitates. It is the critical spirit that creates.”
