The engaged lifestyle often runs counter to the stereotypes many seniors have about senior living communities. Arbor’s Atlanta locations boast a wide range of activities, opportunities for continued learning, a chance to volunteer in the community, and a place to make and nurture friendships that last a lifetime. We’re proud of the deeply connected communities we have built and the way these communities continue to undermine stereotypes about what it means to grow older or to move to senior living.
Arbor’s Atlanta Communities
Arbor Terrace offers many communities in the Atlanta and metro Atlanta area. Our Atlanta communities include:
- Arbor Terrace at Crabapple in Alpharetta

Our communities feature beautiful private rooms, creative floor plans, a continually evolving roster of activities, and flawlessly manicured grounds. Our independent living communities afford seniors the privacy and independence they need, but in a safe and socially engaged setting. Seniors who need more help can move to one of our assisted living or memory care communities. We also offer a novel program, called Bridges, for seniors with dementia who aren’t yet ready for memory care.
People at Arbor
The people at The Arbor Company make all the difference. Our committed team has dedicated their lives to senior living. We are compassionate, thoughtful, and creative. When a senior has a dream, we find a way to make it happen. We’ve proudly served seniors in Atlanta for 30 years, and we look forward to our next 30 years of service.
Arbor thrives on relationships—within our community, with our fellow team members, and with the seniors we serve. We know that relationships are what make life worth living. So we help our seniors remain connected to their communities and their families while supporting them to build new relationships at Arbor. We’ve watched romances blossom and marriages thrive, and been privileged to witness lifelong friendships begin. At Arbor, it’s connection that matters most.
In senior living, it’s easy to say you care about seniors. At Arbor, we walk the walk. We have team members who have been with us for a decade or longer, or who have advanced degrees in topics related to senior care. Experience counts when you’re searching for a place to spend your retirement—or a supportive community that your loved one can call home.
At Arbor, we’ve seen it all. We’ve worked with seniors who were shy and reluctant, who didn’t want to be in senior living, or who worried that senior living might constrain their independence. We’ve helped them all create lives of purpose and passion. We know how to make life great for every senior who walks through our doors.
What Our Residents Have to Say
Many of our residents join our community after a recommendation from a current resident. Some are second-generation Arbor residents. Our excellent care speaks for itself. Check out what some of our clients have to say:
“Hair salon, library, theatre, lovely gardens with sitting areas and patios and lots of celebrations and gatherings that include family are just a few of the special amenities Arbor offers. Best decision we could have made.” —Joan
“She [My mother] has made new friends and has so many new experiences to share! The staff goes above and beyond for the residents! They all are a part of our family!” —Kim
“Most Sundays I have lunch with my mother. I watch how this staff treats the residents and I am touched by their patience, their kindness. They treat these seniors with such dignity. They remember the residents' names, they know how they like their omelets cooked or if they want coffee or tea. I don't believe we could've chosen a better, more caring place for my mother.” —Lisa
“The Arbor Company is unique in its deep connections mentality; when you walk through our front door, you’re family. Through good days and bad, we are there for one another. At The Arbor at BridgeMill you are in good hands! This is a team you can trust and who you know truly loves you as family.” —Katie
