Community News

The coronavirus pandemic may have drastically altered the daily life of nearly everyone around the globe, but at Arbor Terrace Roseland, one thing remains certain: We are dedicated to providing our residents with the best quality of life and care possible. Thanks to our hardworking and compassionate caregivers, our residents are still enjoying life during these uncertain times.

Our team has pulled together to plan safe events that follow all social distancing and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations, as well as serve delicious meals daily. We’ve been busy practicing excellent infection control habits and disinfecting routines. Our residents have been carefully following safety guidelines too, while still finding ways to connect with their neighbors and staff. Here are just a few things we’ve been up to in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Getting Moving

Group exercise classes have always been popular events here at Arbor Terrace. There’s nothing quite like getting moving to make you feel better, no matter your age. Our residents have been back at it, practicing social distancing while getting their group exercise routines in while outdoors. The stretching and movement have been good for the soul as well as the body, and it’s a great time to chat with friends.

Welcoming Families

We’ve missed our residents’ family members over the past few months! Our residents were thrilled to begin outdoor patio visits recently, giving family members the chance to sit and chat with their loved ones. Though it was certainly necessary for our community to restrict visits during the pandemic, our entire community was buzzing with excitement when outdoor visits were announced.

We are incredibly thankful to the residents and family members who were so patient with us as we navigated some difficult decisions regarding visitors in order to keep our community safe. Fortunately, outdoor visits have been going exceptionally well, and everyone is following safety guidelines.

Downsizing Webinar

Finally, we are excited to offer a free July webinar that will be all about transitioning to senior living and downsizing. Join Gina Holsopple as she walks us through common concerns and questions about downsizing when planning for a move to senior living. She’ll cover what to consider bringing, what to leave behind, and how to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. RSVP to join us online, July 15 at 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Keeping Up with Our Community

It’s true that senior living is looking and operating a bit differently these days, but Arbor Terrace Roseland is committed to providing our residents with the best care, socialization, and comfort no matter what. We would love to tell you more about what’s been happening in our community. You can keep up by subscribing to our blog or following us on Facebook.
