Alicia Rastelli, Engagement Director at Arbor Terrace Willistown, explains her love of The Arbor Company’s Engagement Department and how important it is for them to respect and honor each person as an individual that resides in our senior living communities. She says that it is important to know the residents well enough to understand what they like and to also acknowledge that they will not love every activity. The big group exercise might not be what they want to do and that’s ok! Some residents might enjoy activities that don’t involve anyone else. Either way, our team gives time to learn about what each resident wants and design a plan that will make them the happiest each day.
