What Is Bridges?

Bridges is built for seniors in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease or another type of dementia, offering the right amount of support and stimulation without more structure than needed.

Residents live among peers with similar needs, which changes everything about how the day feels. Targeted cognitive exercise and ability-appropriate events round it out, chosen to build confidence rather than test it.

Life in Bridges

Early-stage dementia means living in the in-between.

Full memory care isn't the right fit yet, but traditional assisted living can feel overwhelming, and the effort of keeping up with conversation or covering for forgetfulness wears on a person. In Bridges, neighbors understand, and a pause to find a word goes unremarked. That trade lands as less anxiety, more support, fewer worries, and more connection.

The Bridges Experience

Bridges supports every side of health, on the premise that a life full of opportunity is itself good for you.

Neighbors gather for cognitive exercise programs designed to empower participants and keep minds sharp, while our award-winning dining program adapts meals to what each resident needs and still serves food they love. Social wellness gets equal billing with the physical kind, and the team builds daily events and programs that leave room for fun and learning at each resident's own pace.

Bridges Community Design, Services, and Amenities

It's the amenities and services that make Bridges one of a kind.

Residences are modern, comfortable, and roomy without being a burden to keep up, with multiple floor plans to suit your style and budget, and outdoor areas like walking paths, gardens, and courtyards close at hand. Regular housekeeping visits handle the tidying, menus balance comfort food with brain-boosting fuel, and caregivers trained in early-stage dementia care are there for a helping hand or an encouraging word. The model is equal parts assistance, cognitive exercise, socialization, and community support.

Dining Experiences for Everyone

Our award-winning dining program helps everyone find food they love and that makes them feel their best. Meal adaptations matter at every stage of cognitive decline, especially the early ones.

Transitioning Into Bridges

Earlier diagnosis has given adults something they didn't have decades ago: the chance to speak for themselves and their wishes while planning is still theirs to do.

Bridges exists because we saw residents with a dementia diagnosis retreating in assisted living, spending more time in their apartments and less time out among neighbors. The move is meant to be empowering rather than diminishing, with room to talk openly among people who understand.

Paying for Bridges

Families are often surprised that Bridges fits a carefully planned budget.

Rent, utilities, and care fall under one monthly fee, so expenses that scatter and surprise you at home become a single number you can plan around. What that number looks like depends on the community and the level of support, and the cost calculator will show you how it compares to your current spending.
