The new signature for assisted living and dementia care, Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel, threw open its doors to celebrate its Grand Opening at the end of June. Gambrills locals, senior care professionals, residents, and family members were able to experience firsthand the dedication and care that this state-of-the-art community offers.
Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel celebrated American and Maryland culture throughout the event, with guests enjoying live music by the SRO featuring the Ragg Dolls, and Charles Sullivan, as well as all-American fare like gourmet sliders, delicious sides, desserts, and drinks.
The team members who have worked so diligently to design this senior-friendly community stood alongside officials from the Gambrills area to welcome Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel to the family. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held during the festivities as well.
Guests were also able to get a peek into what life is like at Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel, with tours of the community that included assisted living and dementia care apartments. Then, guests were treated to a taste test of dining options for residents who have specially prescribed diets.
Residents were ecstatic to finally show off their new home to community members, while staff members were eager to show other senior care professionals the Arbor difference in person- and relationship-based care.
